Should laboratory-grown skin be approved for burn treatment?
Starting scenario
Two skin cultures are grown from the same patient. Culture A forms tissue in 12 days but 7% of cells show abnormal division. Culture B takes 18 days, has 1% abnormal cells and survives better after transfer. Both are grown in nutrient solution and monitored using images with scale bars.
